The foundation was established for the purposes of: development, promotion and realisation of universal rights, duties and responsibilities, concerning ways of life, education, the arts and scientific methods which are respectful and beneficial to humanity and the environment and all other activities which in the broadest sense are directly or indirectly related to these objectives.

Article 31 proposal :
A. Every human being has the right to a restored and maintained balance and purity of nature, wherein the dignified survival of all organisms is assured.
B. This Universal right obliges each and every individual, all States and Organisations to jointly and individually share in its care and responsibility..
C. By means of the voluntary distribution and unhindered access of such information, methods, education and legislation necessary for its realisation.

Thus, handed to the United Nations in 1990 by Eppo Harbrink Numan upon the completion of his Atlantic crossing, with the intent that it be added to the existing 30 Articles of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
